We partner with manufacturing and logistics companies across the globe, to help them deliver their customers on-time and in-full, at the lowest possible cost, and with a minimum of inventory.
Our mission is to help you create and sustain flow in your supply chain, so you can deliver your customers on-time and in full, at the lowest possible cost, and with a minimum of inventory.
Learn how to make only what is needed, when it is needed and only in the amount needed, using kanban, one-piece flow and heijunka. The three core principles that make up the just-in-time philosophy.
We provide blended e-learning and classroom training, learning materials and academy services, assessments and dynamic simulations, and on-job implementation support and materials to help you transform your supply chain into a lean, just-in-time value stream.
THE JIT COMPANY was founded in 2019, by Dumontis — a Lean consulting and coaching company that has been around since 2011. We are rich in practical experience, rooted in theory, engaging and inspiring.
Rich in practical experience.
Practical relevance is often seen as the most important aspect of the type of services we provide. And with our 20 years of hands-on experience, you can rest assured, that what you will get is relevant, practical, and applicable.
And we have seen a lot! From basic two-bin applications on bolts and nuts, through challenging heijunka applications for a configure-to-order equipment manufacturer, up to complex production wheels in the process industry, working in pull flow.
Find out more by looking at our client stories and testimonials; and gain the confidence to also take that same step!
Rooted in relevant theory.
Creating and sustaining flow requires a thorough understanding of the factors that inhibit flow. If you like it or not, there are proven theories behind the concept of flow that can explain what is happening in your value stream. And that can help you develop a strategy to counter those negative effects.
The practical tools you witness in world-class companies are all based upon a deep comprehension of those theories. Neglecting them results in just applying a tool, instead of adapting it to your context based upon the underlying principle.
